SURGE students (Student Ministry of Christ the King Grace Church) are excited to serve the city of New Orleans. The students have partnered with Son Servants (https://ycmhome.org/program/ss/) to help serve those in need in New Orleans. The students and leaders will be working with KIPP Schools, homeless shelters, food banks, city parks, horse ranches and many others to do some light painting, home repair and minor construction (roofing, ramp or porch construction, etc), cleaning/organizing, yard work/clean up, much more!
Mission trips are a great way for students to see life beyond themselves and see how God is at work around the world. Our students will be greatly impacted by this trip and request your prayers. In addition, each student needs to raise $900 for this trip. If you would like to help you can give through this online portal. All donations are tax deductible and you will receive a tax deductible receipt from "Network for Good" through email once donation is made.
