Thank you for supporting the critical work of Teach My People by joining us at the IP Palmetto Cup.

In 2022, the event had very high demand for teams and we were excited to take the opportunity to generate more donations by accommodating more teams. An unfortunate side effect was a slow round of golf.

In 2023, we are making a number of updates to the tournament to give our players a premium and timely experience while continuing to be a valuable funding opportunity for Teach My People.

Reduced Number of Teams to Increase Speed of Play
  • Limited the number of teams to no more than 29 teams
  • Will increase the speed of play
  • Team price has increased to $2,000
  • With fewer teams, the new price will still allow positive donation growth
Golden Tee Time on (Friday Night) August 11th
  • An evening with the Georgetown Lead Team to show our appreciation for our partners
  • Great opportunity for extended socialization
  • Companies whose cumulative donations reach at least $2,500 will be invited to attend
  • Takes place on August 11th at a private venue, Quigley’s Next Door in Pawleys Island

Players Gift
  • As part of the upgraded experience, each player will receive a Sunday Golf Big Frosty Golf Cooler
  • Designed to fit into the largest pocket of most golf bags
  • A great piece of gear, especially on an August afternoon at Caledonia
Early Birdie Registration Incentive
  • An encouragement for early registration to support event planning
  • Each player on teams that register by May 31st will receive a Cloud Lightweight Polo from Tasc Performance
  • After the early registration deadline, shirt sizes will be gathered


More Sponsorships Opportunities

Happy Hour Sponsor - $5,000
Sponsor the post-round Happy Hour and receive prominent signage at the Happy Hour, branded cocktail napkins for the event, recognition at the tournament welcoming and the champions announcement, and company logo on 18 all tee markers. This sponsorship qualifies for an invitation to participate in the Golden Tee Time with the Georgetown Lead Team on August 11.

Swag Sponsor - $4,500
The tournament team will work with each swag sponsor to come up with a unique swag item for all players featuring the company’s branding. This sponsorship qualifies for an invitation to participate in the Golden Tee Time with the Georgetown Lead Team on August 11.

Par 3 Tee Party Sponsor - $2,500

Each sponsor will be able to host a tee area of a par 3 holes. This can include any activity of the company’s choice, (such as giveaway a specialty beverage, corn hole contest, etc). If you would like to host a tee party but need staffing assistance, the tournament team can support your efforts. Table, chairs and tent are included. This sponsorship qualifies for an invitation to participate in the Golden Tee Time with the Georgetown Lead Team on August 11.

Drink Sponsor - $2,500

Drink sponsor and receive prominent signage in the registration area, branded koozies, recognition at the tournament welcoming and the awards announcement. This sponsorship qualifies for an invitation to participate in the Golden Tee Time with the Georgetown Lead Team on August 11.

Lunch Sponsor - $2,500

The lunch sponsor will receive prominent signage in the registration area, inclusion of a branded snack with lunch, recognition at the tournament welcoming and the awards announcement. This sponsorship qualifies for an invitation to participate in the Golden Tee Time with the Georgetown Lead Team on August 11.

Hole Sponsor - $500

Each sponsor receive an 18” x 24” Premium Gold Sign at one of the 18 Holes. A hole sponsorship, when combined with a team registration, qualifies a company for an invite to the Golden Tee Time on August 11.
